In David Bach’s book, “The Automatic Millionaire” he says that the ultimate secret is to have your bank schedule weekly or bi-weekly withdrawals of cash and have that money swept right out of your bank account before you can spend it all. I have been using this method now for some time, and I can tell you it works better than anything else I’ve ever used. I consider myself pretty disciplined, yet making frequent automatic withdrawals of income weekly has FORCED me to live on whatever amount is left over. Well, in a similar way I have devised a system for making your marketing automatic.The Three Types of Days:The way to make marketing automatic, is to make it a weekly habit in the same way saving becomes a habit.Only self-discipline rarely works. What does work is blocking one day from your schedule per week, a day we call a Rain Maker Day.What you do on a Rain Maker Day is “business building.” A Rain Maker Day is a 24-hour day in which all you’re allowed to focus on is marketing, promoting, and selling of your chiropractic services. You’re not allowed to work in the office, you’re not allowed to see patients, none of that. Just marketing and practice building.Doctors who try this tell me it’s the most profound change they’ve made. It typically results in quantum leaps in practice growth, because previous to this they were so busy the idea of adding more to their plate was impossible. A Rain Maker Day blasts them through this roadblock. A Rain Maker Day makes marketing happen automatically!No more “finding time” for marketing, no more guilt, no more falling behind in your goals. If I could get you draw a line in the sand and insist on one Rain Maker Day per week, your life would be profoundly impacted.In summary, the way to make marketing automatic is to make it a habit by taking one Rain Maker Day per week.
