All of the recruiting and building of your downline is done on the Internet as well. Even training distributors to be successful can be done via the Internet including webinars, podcasts, Skype chat rooms, or even talking on the telephone for free via Skype to anyone in the world.
Every successful network marketing business depends on leads and the truly successful network marketer becomes adept at developing their own lead generation methods. You can purchase leads from lead companies, but the days of cold calling these types of leads are virtually done.
You are better off to capture your own leads and then use those to help your downline build their business. To do this certainly take some Internet marketing skills in forms of traffic generation, but this is something that average people are doing and doing very well.
In summary you can see why network marketing is a great way to make money from home today. You can retail products and earn a profit, or you can enroll new distributors and build a large downline and make money from them as well. Thanks to the Internet this can all be done from the comfort of your own home.
