Trying to make money from home is very difficult if you don’t have that extra money to put into advertising. And without advertising it’s impossible to succeed in selling anything. That’s why companies make it such a big part of their budget. But if you don’t really have a budget where you can allocate a certain amount for advertising, what do you do? That’s when you have to have to start writing articles. Perhaps you are already an article marketing and that’s why you are reading this article. But even so, you may have gotten tired, or given up on it. Here’s a few thoughts on the subject. There are some hindrances to keeping us from writing. I’ll mention three of them.
Not knowing what to write
One of the big hindrances is not knowing what to say when you feel you have exhausted every part of your subject. That’s when you have to take some time to brainstorm and read other people’s articles for inspiration. You need to gather more information about your subject which will give you more ideas. Perhaps your motivation has gone down, and you just write occasionally. It’s doubtful that occasional articles will bring results. You have to take action to get you out of the doldrums and actively use this method to fuel your make money from home business. Take a few days to gather enough material for 10 articles and then you will feel as though you can get going again.
Not enough time
This is a very valid reason because article writing does take time. There are those who say you can write an article in 5 minutes. Well, I’m not one of them, but I’ve been experimenting with ways to cut down on the length of time it takes me to write an article. I’ve taken up the suggestion of Janet Cole who is a successful article writer. She suggests setting the timer to 15 minutes and force yourself to write without stopping for that length of time. Then reduce it to 14 minutes and so on. If you do this you will learn to write more quickly. Try it.
Being too much of a perfectionist
If you look at the articles out there, they are not perfect but if they give you inspiration or an idea they are worth the effort to write and to read. Remember no one is going to give you an A or a C. Just follow the editorial guidelines and get your article out there with your website for your make money from home business and see what happens. I read about someone who wrote five articles a day for a month and was amazed at the results. Strive for excellence in the information you give, but don’t get stuck in the perfectionist trap.
